Sue Miranda, M.D.

Family Physician

Born in Wyoming and raised in Aurora, Colorado, Dr. Miranda graduated from the University of Iowa Medical School in 1990 and completed her Family Medicine residency in 1993. She was faculty at the University of Iowa for 13 years and then moved to South Carolina to become faculty at a community residency program there. As faculty, she did full spectrum family medicine, including delivering babies, inpatient and ICU hospital care, as well as regular outpatient family medicine. She then worked as an urgent doctor care while her kids finished school.

She moved back to Colorado in 2018, and worked as both an outpatient family doctor and also worked as a traveling doctor to help in rural health clinics in Yuma and Leadville, CO, in 2023. She joined PAPC in June 2023 at the Skyridge Medical Center location. Direct primary care has been a model of patient care she has wanted to join for many years, and is thrilled to join this thriving practice at the South Denver site.

Dr. Miranda loves reading, gardening, and needlework/knitting in her spare time. She also sings in the Cherry Creek Chorale, a Denver community chorale. She is married and has two grown children and one grandson. She has done medical missions in Haiti and Honduras and plans to do other trips in the next few years.
